FMG TUG BOAT HARBOUR

Port Hedland, W.A

Designed, constructed and commissioned by EIG, the FMG Tug Boat Harbour fuel system includes a 200kl self-bunded storage tank with a custom-built offshore refuelling container, that has 800m of above / belowground piping which employs a state-of-the-art leak detection system, Mining / Marine grade MCC housing multiple Variable Speed Drive’s, PLC, Network Equipment and other pertinent process control infrastructure. The harbour also utilises a TubePress piping system throughout.
EIG also designed and supplied a remote fibre optic network to mitigate any safety concerns and send such signals over long distances.

NAMMULDI CENTRAL MINE SERVICES – BULK LUBE FACILITY FOR HEAVY MINING EQUIPMENTS (HME)

Nammuldi Central Mine Services, Mount Sheila, W.A

EIG were contracted to design and construct two new additional bulk lube racks for the HME workshop extension, which consisted of two bulk lube hose reel racks with each rack containing multiple lubrication products. Each product is able to be batched from a selection of lubricants from the existing bulk lube farm.

NAMMULDI CENTRAL MINE SERVICES – BULK LUBE FACILITY FOR HEAVY MINING EQUIPMENTS (LME)

Nammuldi Central Mine Services, Mount Sheila, W.A

Designed and constructed by EIG, the LME Fuel Facility includes a 110kL above ground Diesel storage tank with tank monitoring, unloading and dispensing pump skid, double sided dispensing, together with an Adapt-MAC fuel management system.

NAMMULDI CENTRAL MINE SERVICES – LUBE FACILITY FOR LIGHT VEHICLE WORKSHOP

EIG were contracted to design and construct the new LV workshop bulk lube facility, which consisted of three bulk lube hose reel racks with each rack containing multiple lubrication products. Each product is able to batch the selected lubricant from a custom designed external bulk lube farm.

SILVERGRASS 1ML FUEL FARM

Silvergrass East Mine Site, Mount Sheila, W.A

Designed and constructed by EIG, the Silvergrass million-litre fuel farm comprises of 5 x 200kL tanks, including an unloading pump skid and dispensing skid. Three unloading bays to suit a B- triple tanker, with the capacity to unload 2700lpm. Heavy vehicle refueling and light vehicle refueling stations. The heavy vehicle station has the capacity to dispense 900lpm.

The system is fully controlled using HMI, PLC/SCADA, utilising state of the art programmable flow and pressure switches.

Mega Tanks Clean Fuel

Nelson Point Mine, Port Headland, WA

EIG were engaged to carry out electrical works including, but not limited to; the installation of fibre optic communications to 3 x Mega tanks filtration systems, installation and electrical modifications to the main MCC switchboard, installation of 3 x distribution boards at the filtration skids economizing BHP Billiton’s operations and reducing their maintenance costs.

Boodarie

Boodarie Rail Facility, Port Headland, WA

EIG were contracted to design and construct the fuel management system and bulk diesel fuels filtration system for the Boodarie rail facility including fibre optic communications.

High Flow Diesel Dispensing System

Mining Area C (MAC), Pilbara, WA

EIG were engaged to design and construct the new heavy vehicle high flow diesel dispensing system upgrade. The new system has an output of 2,000 litres per minute. 2 new pumps controlled by 2 new VSD controllers were installed. The main MCC panel was also extended and upgraded. The new controls included emergency shutdowns, actuators, PLC inputs and outputs, ADAPT fuel management system, batching system, overflow control and deadman controls.

West Angelas Mine Site – Heavy Vehicle Refuel Facility

West Angelas Approximately 100 Kilometres North of Newman

EIG appointed consulting engineers to survey original switchboard and control circuitry and redraft CAD drawings. A new design was engineered to extend the existing fuel farm capacity. This included the installation of a new HV fuel bay and storage tank. The required client functionality was achieved with the existing facility and extended infrastructure using logic control. The lighting of the new HV fuel bay and storage tank platforms were designed to achieve the required LUX levels using modern and energy efficient LED lighting.

Pilbara

EIG was contracted to design and construct a new fuel farm for HV vehicles. The fuel farm consisted of two separate loading bays for autonomous and non-autonomous heavy vehicles.

CHICHESTER RAIL DIESEL OFF LOAD FACILITY

Pilbara, Western Australia

In the dry red sands of the Pilbara, EIG successfully completed the full design and construction of an electrical infrastructure solution capable of supporting multiple rail to truck diesel offloading platforms, together with full PLC designs.

Boddington Gold Mine

Boddington

EIG were engaged by RC Civil to supply and install the total electrical and communications package for the new fuel depot. It consisted of a HV refuel, MV refuel and LV refuel along with an unloading and storage facility. Lighting consisted of 15 metre poles with multiple 1,000 watt Metal halide light fittings to achieve very high client specified LUX levels
